Stacey Pittman is President and CEO of ClinAssure providing direction and leadership toward the achievement of the company’s philosophy, mission, strategy and annual goals and objectives. Stacey also consults with all sponsors to ensure healthy and strong relationships and secure continuous business ventures. Stacey has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO and biotechnology industries covering a multitude of therapeutic areas. Prior to the incorporation of ClinAssure, Inc. in 2005, Stacey managed and directed clinical programs for Pfizer, Quintiles Pacific, Quintiles, Inc., Parexel International, Genetech, Inc., and Allergan with a special focus on clinical training and consulting. Stacey received her Bachelor of Science degree and her Master of Science degree in Project Management from Western Carolina University. Stacey has multiple presentation and publishing credits including “Introduction to the Drug Development Process,” a class she taught at the University of San Diego School of Nursing. |

Mike Osz is Sr. Vice President of Clinical Operations. Mike provides strategic development and leadership to the Clinical Operations division including the primary focus areas of global full service study management, investigative site monitoring and project management consulting. He also serves as a member of ClinAssure’s Leadership Team, which is responsible for setting the company’s overall goals and strategic direction. Mike has previously directed clinical research programs in the international pharmaceutical industry and held senior leadership positions in global, full service CROs. His career encompasses over 16 years of global drug development at Pfizer, PPD and Paragon Biomedical and across multiple therapeutic areas including infectious diseases, CNS, cardiovascular diseases and immunology. Mike graduated from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa with a B.Sc. degree in Microbiology/Genetics and a post graduate B.Sc. (Honors) degree in Virology. |

Karin Freda is Executive Director of Quality, Standards & Education. Karin provides leadership and expertise in these areas for ClinAssure. Her areas of expertise include global leadership in GCP quality assurance, compliance, strategy and authorship in process development/re-engineering, training pharmaceutical professionals and clinical research management. She joined the industry in 1988 and has worked for Ciba-Geigy/Novartis (US and Basel), Allergan and most recently as Director at Amgen. Karin’s experience includes work in a variety of therapeutic areas including anti-inflammatory, dermatology, pulmonary, cardiovascular, oncology, and CNS. She has worked globally and as a trainer in the pharmaceutical community since 1991, including GCP-focused training for organizations such as PERI, DIA and FDA’s BioResearch Monitoring Subcommittee. She will be presenting at the ACRP and DIA Global Conferences in 2009. Karin earned a Bachelor of Science at Cook College, Rutgers University studying International Environmental Studies, Environmental Law, Epidemiology and Chinese. |
